I’ve been tagged by Sadgirl for “The Thinking Blogger Awards”, basically blogs that make you think. Rules state I have to link them and nominate five others.
Publican’s Decoy- Just Your Atypical Boy-Girl-Girl-Boy is a mostly political and cultural livejournal that I very rarely agree with but do love reading. He always manages to provoke a bit of debate.
Wife of a Schizophrenic is a blog maintained by…well, the wife of a schizophrenic. It details her life with Mister Man and the many pitfalls of the NHS Mental Health care. Highly recommended.
Mental Nurse is a blog maintained by NHS mental nurses and trainees. They write extensively on their experiences and about the inner workings of the NHS.
Wardytron is just one of the funniest men in the world.
The BBC Ouch! Disability Blog is a more lighthearted blog dealing with disability.
I was supposed to go to a psychiatric appointment earlier but I fell asleep since I took Seroquel too late. I was awoken by my doctor on the phone and I can’t even remember what was said. He didn’t sound pleased, anyway.
Not much to say at the moment, for some reason, the sun brings depression and I am still panicking about money.

Stumble It!

Of course your doctor didn’t sound pleased. It’s hard to be THE DOCTOR without THE PATIENT, and poor doc winds up feeling
unwanted and ignored, curls up with his blankie and makes a call
to his therapist…. It could be, since doc’s are people too, and
we all know what THAT means!
That’s a bit harsh, Thomas. She wouldn’t be the first patient in the world to miss an appointment because the meds have sedated her too much.
But yay, thanks for the nomination for the Thinking Blogger Awards. Shame I just made what’s probably the most unthinking post I’ve ever done on Mental Nurse.
Wow, thanks Seaneen! This will explain why the number of hits to my blog have just gone through the roof!
Ooh hang on a minute… does this mean I’ve been tagged? Do I now have to do the same?
Yep, Mrmanswife!
Wow, thank you very much. I kind of scaled down the ’serious’ posts a bit because I just seemed to be arguing with my friends too much. So now if anyone clicks through to my journal expectign to see some ‘thinking’ stuff they’ll just read about Die Hard and adverts. Whoops!
Honestly, there’s more serious stuff if you scroll down!
